We are looking for high calibre regulatory scientists who have experience of / an interest in the area of chemical policy. You will work on a range of regulatory and policy evaluation projects for a range of UK, EU and global public sector / government agency clients and have the opportunity to be able to positively shape well balanced government chemical policy.

Global chemical policy and regulation has remit to enhance human, environmental and economic health without adversely impacting business, employment and nations’ ability to compete in global markets. Your role will be to provide expert review and input to policy and regulation to help ensure it achieves its keys aims while minimising cost and impact to business. You will need to analyse the complex, sometimes conflicting direct and indirect aspects of a new policy or regulation, and review the impact of policy / regulatory intervention following implementation to assess how it has performed against its key criteria.

We are interested to hear from high calibre and talented candidates from scientific or economic backgrounds who have experience with, or interest in developing chemical policy and regulation. Previous experience working within the public sector or for public sector clients would be highly attractive; experience and knowledge of chemical regulations such as REACH, CLP / GHS is important. You must have excellent attention to detail, strong analysis skills, (scientific) writing ability and confident oral communication. You will be working in multi-disciplinary teams aside like-minded professionals. An excellent opportunity.
