Description

An opportunity to join the Global Regulatory Affairs team at a large speciality chemical business. The department has the remit of ensuring product compliance with UK, EU and Global chemical legislation and collaboration / provision of expert advice to R&D, commercial and supply chain teams.

Duties are varied and will include hazard communication (SDS Authoring, preparing labels), product hazard classifications, liasing with suppliers to ensure compliance of raw materials and keeping track of changes to all regulations including CLP, GHS, REACH, BPR etc in order to be able to proactively manage finished product compliance.

We’d like to hear from candidates with a scientific degree (chemistry or toxicology ideal) and some experience of chemical regulatory affairs – familiarity with CLP / GHS and/or REACH would be advantageous. Knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and hazard classification would be ideal; the company is happy to provide ongoing training and development to the right candidate.
