An opportunity for an early/mid-career level chemical regulatory affairs professional who is looking to use your knowledge to develop a company’s product stewardship ability, systems and expertise. Rather than work on hands on operational matters, your role will be to analyse regulatory developments, develop implementation solutions, review and develop existing systems and enhance the teams’ expertise.
Typical projects will involve analysis of new chemical legislation / regulation or changes to existing regulations, assess the impact to the business and implement the changes needed. You would review existing product stewardship systems and processes with the aim of creating efficiency and improvement, provide expert input to solve problems and help increase the knowledge of the team.
We’d like to hear from chemical regulatory / product stewardship professionals with excellent interpersonal and people skills. You must enjoy presenting and explaining regulatory developments, researching regulatory developments, impact analysis and managing projects to implement solutions. You must have a good knowledge of chemical regulations eg REACH, CLP and GHS, SAP EHS experience would be ideal, and a successful track record in either chemical regulatory consultancy or an industry side department.
