Are you a Chemistry Graduate or a Development / Analytical Chemist who is interested in moving into regulatory affairs? Do you have an understanding of the hazard classification of the chemicals? Have you worked with safety data sheets and COSHH assessments? This is an opportunity to start you career in regulatory affairs and join a blue-chip global chemical business.
We are looking for a chemist who would like to move into regulatory affairs – this is an ideal introductory role – you will provide support to the team and undertake straightforward regulatory tasks. The support will involve managing product stewardship enquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Enquiries relate to a range of regulatory matters including classifications, SDSs, product raw materials, uses etc You will liaise with colleagues to solve issues and answer enquiries in a timely manner. As you experience grows, you will undertake additional regulatory tasks relating to the compliance of the company’s broad portfolio of raw materials.
Suitable candidates will have a chemistry-based degree (BSc / MSc), an interest in regulations and chemical management, and ideally some experience or understanding of chemical hazard classifications or safety data sheets. You must be highly organised, proactive, have good communication skills and be able to multi-task. You must be genuinely interested in regulatory affairs – and be able to explain this at interview.
