Description

An opportunity to become the Ecolabel expert at this global chemicals manufacturing business. With full training, you will become the in-house ecolabel expert and be responsible for compiling and submitting ecolabel applications to the relevant competent authorities.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in ecolabels – full training will be provided.
Ecolabels are a huge growth area, they prove a product meets certain environmental and sustainability criteria. Your role will be to understand the guidance, specify the relevant data, liaising with internal departments such as product development, packaging, artwork etc to gather and compile the data, submit the data to the relevant competent authority and become the key point of contact with the competent authority. Typical ecolabel accreditations include EU Ecolabel, Blue Swan, Nordic Swan and EcoCert.

Suitable candidate must have a scientific degree and 1-2 years’ experience working with a FMCG business in the areas of formulation, product development or chemical regulation. Knowledge of chemical formulations/mixtures is particularly important. You must have good communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to work very accurately, and the ability to work quickly, multi-task and work to deadlines. Full training in the ecolabel process and requirements will be provided.
