Description

We are looking for an ecotoxicologist / ecotoxicology specialist to join the environmental risk assessment team of an expanding chemical regulatory science consultancy. Ideally you will have existing experience of ecotoxicology evaluation of chemical / agrochemical products and substances – this could be with a competent authority, consultancy or CRO/lab-based ecotoxicology company.

Your work will be predominantly agrochemical / PPP orientated but there may be some chemical and biocide work; projects will involve providing ecotoxicological support to registration projects; this will include reviewing data sets, sourcing data, study monitoring, compiling regulatory submissions, expert advice and environmental risk assessments. This company has a reputation for solving complex problems – you will gain exposure to non-routine and highly challenging molecules.

This role would be ideal for an ecotoxicologist with existing experience in agrochemical/chemical ecotoxicology and ideally some risk assessment. Knowledge of biocides would also be of interest. We’d definitely consider lab-based ecotoxicologists who are looking to move into a desk-based risk assessment role. Ongoing training and development is a key part of this company’s culture – you will gain deep expertise in this fascinating field.
