Description

An opportunity to join the Hazard Communication team at a global chemicals business and play a key role in the Product Stewardship Delivery group that is responsible for authoring Hazard Communication documentation to support a global products range. You will work closely with colleagues from product stewardship, the technical expert group and legal, delivering global support using the SAP PSP platform.

We are looking for candidates with a working knowledge of GHS classification rules, experience with Safety data sheet content, good attention to detail, analytical skills enabling you to follow-up issues and get to the root cause, good communication skills, ability to multi-task and to manage changing priorities. You must have good IT skills, ideally be familiar with SAP-EHS (although full training will be provided), be familiar with Excel and be able to manage large amounts of data and interpret it for regulatory reporting.

Knowledge of relevant regulations impacting chemical products would be advantageous ie CLP, GHS and REACH. Experience with fuels, lubricants or other process stream chemicals and their components would be highly beneficial.
