Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to take a lead role and head up a growing regulatory affairs team. Key duties include developing/maintaining a sound knowledge of EU and UK regulatory requirements for pesticides and biocides in particular, provision of advice to chemical manufacturers and distributors, project and resource management, and overseeing a team of Regulatory Consultants.

This role will involve a combination of project management, delivery of technical work, allocation of resource to projects and contribution to service development and marketing activities. You will use existing expertise, primarily in either the Plant Protection Product Regulation (Reg 1107/2009) or Biocidal Products Regulation (Reg 528/2012) to provide regulatory and technical advice and guidance to the team and clients, and to scope, resource and deliver technical regulatory projects including performing data gap analyses, commissioning of regulatory studies with CROs, developing customer-specific of regulatory compliance strategies and coordinating the preparation of technical dossiers. You will be primary point of contact for clients, develop project proposals, resource manage projects, track project progress and proof reports prepared by the team prior to client submission. You will also work closely with senior managers to develop and implement new service offerings in response to market / regulatory developments.

Applications are invited from candidates with a proven track record in chemical regulatory affairs who are interested in taking a team lead and project management role. You must have a sound knowledge of Plant Protection Product Regulation (Reg 1107/2009) or Biocidal Product Regulation (Reg 528/2012) and be able to review and work on projects in your specialist area or other regulations. Team leading/management experience will be highly advantageous for this role. You must be a confident communicator, lead by example, adaptable and willing to take on new work, and demonstrate an ability to client-focussed solutions to the challenges faced.
