An excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to take a lead role and head up a growing regulatory affairs team. Key duties include developing/maintaining a sound knowledge of EU and UK regulatory requirements for agrochemicals and chemicals, provision of advice and expertise internally and externally, project management, resource management and continued development of the team’s expertise and scientific credibility.

This role will involve a combination of project management, delivery of technical work, allocation of resource to projects and contribution to service development and marketing. You will use your existing expertise in Plant Protection Product Regulation (1107/2009) or EU BPD (EU 528/2012) or REACH to provide advice and guidance to the team and clients, to scope, resource and deliver technical regulatory projects including preparation of technical dossiers, scientific justifications, consulting of product portfolios, advice of preparing for significant legislation, placement of regulatory studies with external CROs, advocacy and general advice and provision of expertise. You will be primary point of contact for clients, develop project proposals, resource manage projects, track project progress and proof reports prepared by the team prior to client submission. You will also work closely with senior managers to develop and implement new service offerings in response to market / regulatory developments.

You must have a sound knowledge of Plant Protection Product Regulation (1107/2009) or Biocidal Product Regulation / BPR (EU 528/2012) or REACH and be able/willing to review and work on projects in your specialist area or other regulations. Team leading/management experience isn’t essential – they are happy to look at this as development. You must be a confident communicator, able to lead by example, you must strive for excellence and be looking to provide first rate expertise and client solutions.
