This is an opportunity for an Environmental Regulatory Scientist / Risk Assessment Scientist who would like to move into a project coordination role and away from full-time technical work. You will need to have a good understanding of chemical or agrichemical product environmental risk assessment (fate or ecotoxicology), confident communication skills and excellent organisational abilities.

In this role you will take responsibility for the coordination of the company’s environmental risk assessment project work. Projects will include both environmental fate and ecotoxicology; your role will be to be initial point of contact with the client, to assess the proposed project, write the project proposal, schedule the projects, allocate technical resource and maintain contact with the client. You will also act as technical resource and work on your own environmental risk assessment projects.

We would like to hear from environmental fate or ecotoxicology regulatory scientists who would be interested in a progression opportunity and in applying their knowledge in a slightly different way. Current knowledge of environmental risk assessment of chemical products (chemicals, agrochemicals, biocides, veterinary medicine or human pharmaceuticals), environmental fate, environmental fate modelling or regulatory ecotoxicology is essential; you will be using your knowledge to assess potential projects, develop project proposals and plans and the schedule the project to the most appropriate risk assessor. You must also have confident and professional communication skills, have excellent attention to detail, be well organised and able to multi-task.
