(Lead Regulatory Ecotoxicologist)

UK Wide, Home Based

We are looking for an experienced regulatory ecotoxicologist to work as a technical specialist in a multi-disciplinary registrations team. The role will involve acting as the department ecotox expert, you will mentor more junior ecotoxicologists and provide expert advice and guidance to external stakeholders.

The role will involve supporting large registration projects; you will provide ecotoxicology expertise (aquatic or terrestrial) and also be required to build up an appreciation of other dossier sections. You will specifically take responsibility for data gap analysis, reviewing and critically assessing reports, developing testing strategies, study monitoring, data interpretation, compiling position, dossier compilation and submission. You will also prepare technical rebuttals, liaise with regulatory authorities and provide expert advice on the most appropriate actions to ensure successful registration.

We would like to hear from ecotoxicologists with existing experience of regulatory submissions, risk assessment and current regulatory guidance in ecotoxicology for Regulation 1107/2009 (plant protection, crop protection). Ideally you will be looking for a role as a technical expert who can share/develop knowledge of a more junior team and act as the department technical lead.
