Description

An opportunity for a recently qualified PhD graduate with expertise related to environmental fate and chemical regulatory science. You will join a highly regarded team and receive excellent ongoing training and mentoring. You will be working on projects to investigate the fate, behaviour and (eco) toxicology of chemicals in the environment, conduct risk assessments and to contribute to the environmental section of registration dossiers.

You will support the environmental risk assessment of agrochemical, chemical, biocide, veterinary and human pharmaceutical products. This will include data assessment, data sourcing, modelling, interpretation and expert report writing. You will receive training in the latest best industry practice.

Applications are invited from candidates with a PhD in a subject related to the fate and behaviour, or ecotoxicology of chemicals in the environment. You must have a strong scientific pedigree, be numerate, a propensity for modelling, and critical thinking and problem-solving ability. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a quick learner and able to multi-task. An excellent start to your career.
