Description
An opportunity for a commercially and strategically minded chemicals regulatory manager to join a global chemical manufacturing business as manager of the regulatory affairs/compliance, product registrations and sustainability function. You will lead and coordinate a team of experienced regulatory and sustainability professionals, providing strategic guidance to ensure decisions fit with business strategy.
You will be leading a team of regulatory professionals with expertise and responsibility for REACH, global REACH-like registration schemes, hazard communication, regulatory affairs and sustainability. You will provide leadership, commercial and strategic guidance to ensure all decisions and activities fit with the business needs. You will also lead the representation of the business with trade associations and consortia.
We are looking for an experienced regulatory manager and leader with a deep knowledge and understanding of the chemical industry. You are likely to be from a technical, regulatory or legal background with specific knowledge of global chemical regulations / legislation. You must be commercially and strategically minded, able to guide and lead a highly experienced team of regulatory experts. You must be an excellent communicator, have strong influencing skills, good relationship building skills, and able to constructively challenge and to effectively lead and implement the business regulatory strategy.
