Description
Opportunity to join the Global Product Stewardship team at a well-known speciality chemicals company. The central team provides regulatory solutions to all group companies; you will take responsibility for UK/EU regulatory compliance for products across all business units and, have global responsibility for compliance of a specific business unit. You will work with substance and complex aqueous mixtures.
This will be a highly diverse role; typical duties include answering complex customer regulatory enquiries, researching/impact assessing emerging regulatory issues, regulatory support to NPD, product notifications, REACH registrations, managing external expert consultants, and presenting to business on regulatory requirements.
Suitable candidates must have a proven track record in product stewardship or regulatory compliance in the chemicals industry; you are likely to have knowledge in some of the areas of CLP/GHS, REACH, packaging, biocides, food contact or any other chemical legislation. Ideally you will have had a broad role with responsibility for a range of tasks; you must have a strong knowledge of at least one piece of legislation, and the ability to be able to read, understand and apply any chemical legislation. Any experience of sustainability would also be beneficial.
