Description

An excellent opportunity to join an established and reputable chemicals policy and chemical risk management consultancy. You will focus on REACH Authorisation and Restriction projects for industry clients and have the opportunity to contribute to chemical policy projects for government agencies. Projects will include REACH authorisation dossiers, REACH restrictions dossiers, SVHC proposals, assessments of alternatives to chemical substances and assessment of socio-economic impacts of regulatory proposals/actions. An outstanding opportunity to focus on this highly complex and challenging area of REACH and chemical regulation.

Suitable candidates are likely to be graduates / higher graduates in a scientific field, have a background in chemical regulation and ideally some experience / knowledge of REACH Authorisation. An interest in authorisation / restriction of chemical is essential. You must be pro-industry and be prepared to work on behalf of ethical manufacturers and their representative bodies. You must have proven research skills, strong attention to detail, excellent written and spoken communication skills and, the ability to write high quality reports and dossiers.
