An opportunity for a chemist with some regulatory compliance experience, or a regulatory affairs assistant to join the regulatory team at an international chemical products company. You will assist a highly experienced regulatory affairs manager and benefit from ongoing training designed to give you all the skills and experience required to manage chemical product regulatory affairs.

Duties will involve assisting in all aspects of chemical regulatory affairs – this will include safety data sheet (SDS) management and authoring, product labelling, transport classifications, raw material data management, supplier compliance checks, Poison Centre notifications, REACH compliance, substance monitoring, regulatory support to R&D and manufacturing, and support for environmental management systems. There will be comprehensive on the job training provided to enable you to fulfil / support these functions.

This role would be ideal for people at any stage of their career who are looking to focus on regulatory affairs, legislation and compliance of chemical products. You must have experience in a chemical products or chemical manufacturing business and some experience of writing safety data sheets (SDSs) or any other aspects of chemical regulatory compliance. You must be a quick learner, have excellent attention to detail, be well organised and have personable communication skills.
