Description

An opportunity to join a newly formed regulatory team at global speciality chemical company. This is a generalist role providing excellent opportunity to be involved in all aspects of regulatory affairs and registrations; hazard communication, classifications, data gathering, dossier writing, submissions and regulatory support. Experience of biocides (BPR) or agrochemicals / plant protection products is preferred but not essential.

The company has a wide portfolio of primarily biocidal products; you will be working on all aspects of regulatory affairs. Training will be provided but ideally you will have some biocide or PPP experience. Duties will include managing SDSs, hazard classifications, advising on labelling content and working on registration projects. This will include product specific data generation, data assessment, study monitoring, risk assessment, dossier compilation, submissions and post submission question handling. You will also be required to support colleagues in R&D and sales and marketing. The company is keen for people to have / develop a broad knowledge of all aspects of regulatory affairs due to the benefits of a highly versatile team.

We would like to hear from candidates with a degree/higher degree in chemistry, biology or toxicology along with some industrial regulatory affairs experience. Specific knowledge of biocide products, substances and the BPR would be very useful although not essential. PPP experience is also attractive. General knowledge of CLP, REACH and hazard communication would also be of interest. We are looking for people interested in a generalist position rather than technical specialists. This is a new department offering excellent prospects to new joiners.
