Description

An opportunity to join a global speciality chemical company, head up a regulatory affairs team and take responsibility for global product registrations and regulatory compliance. This role will involve regulatory strategy, managing the workload of the regulatory team and hands on technical input to the dossier preparation and risk assessments – an excellent opportunity.

The company has a wide portfolio of primarily biocidal products; this role will take a lead on active substance approvals and product authorisation under the BPR and other global notification schemes.
You will devise regulatory strategy, provide expert guidance to the business and play a key role in the delivery of BPR services including preparing, implementing and coordinating regulatory projects, dossiers and technical approvals. You will ensure that authorisation projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, represent the company at industry groups and regulatory agency meetings, and communicate effectively with national and European agencies. As the regulatory lead, you’ll need to further develop and maintain regulatory knowledge of Global, European and National biocide and pesticides regulations. The role will also involve planning and supervising the work of a small regulatory team.

We would like to hear from anyone with regulatory affairs experience gained from industry, regulators and/or regulatory consultancies, a strong understanding of the BPR and ideally proven track record of successfully submitting active substance approvals and biocidal product authorisations. You are likely to have knowledge and interest in technical aspects such as efficacy, risk and exposure assessment. Experience of team supervision or management would be preferred, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be motivated, organised and proactive.
