Description
An opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join a global chemical trade association. You will be responsible for supporting all policy-related scientific and regulatory activities in Europe. This role will be diverse, challenging and offer excellent career development.
You will primarily be involved in gathering, analysing and disseminating relevant and technical information to members and providing updates on any policy developments to all stakeholders. You will also prepare scientific and technical reports and ensure adequate communications to members while maintaining expert knowledge and understanding of global legislations in Chemical Management.
Candidates should be educated to degree level in a scientific field. Ideally you will have a good understanding of REACH and experience of product specific regulations in sectors such as chemicals, batteries, energy/renewables. You must be highly organised, quick learning, able to multi-task and effectively manage a significant portfolio of activities. Confident communication and interpersonal skills are essential; strong interest in health & safety, product stewardship and regulatory compliance is essential. The role will involve some European travel.
