Description

An excellent opportunity to join the newly formed Regulatory Affairs team in a new business division of a major global company. Reporting to a highly experienced manager, you will help establish systems and procedures to ensure the correct product classifications, registrations, certifications, and global compliance of a new chemical product.

Key duties will include product classifications, SDS / label authoring, research regulatory requirements and changes in global regions, reporting regulatory developments to the business, development of fit for purpose accreditation and quality management schemes, supporting internal departments eg marketing, management etc, and any other duties to ensure best compliance practice. The company is investing heavily in this new venture; it is a large volume global product and you will be in right at the start!

This role would be ideal for someone looking for a generalist / diverse regulatory role; ideally you will have a scientific qualification, knowledge of chemical product classification and SDS authoring (CLP/GHS), experience with REACH or other similar regulatory regimes, and ideally knowledge of or interest in accreditation schemes / quality management systems e.g., ISO. You must be flexible, keen to have a varied workload, be able to learn on the job, be process driven, have excellent attention to detail and, good communication skills.
