An exciting opportunity to develop and project manage global registration strategies for complex chemical substances and mixtures. Key duties will include interpretation of global legislative requirements, development of registration strategies, management of registrations and notifications, data package development, coordination of matrix teams, interfacing with diverse stakeholders and company representation / advocacy with industry bodies.

This role will involve providing expert regulatory support to a newly formed department tasked with finding new global markets and applications for the company’s chemistries. You will evaluate and interpret regulatory requirements and design fit for purpose registration strategy. You will manage matrix teams of internal technical / regulatory colleagues and external consultants who will prepare registration dossiers for submission to global authorities. Projects will cover both current and future chemical substance registration schemes. There will be significant collaboration with colleagues, consultants, CROs and consortia, and the need to provide clear communication to a wide range of internal technical and commercial functions. You will also represent the company’s interest in meetings with industry bodies, consortia and regulators. Projects will be highly complex involving multiple substances, large budgets and globally based matrix teams.

We would like to hear from interested candidates who have a background in chemical regulatory affairs (chemical notifications and registrations) and strong project management skills. You are likely to have knowledge of EU or global chemical regulations (REACH, K-REACH etc) and ideally have experience with complex mixtures. You must be able to research and develop registration / notification strategy and have the project management skills to manage the implementation. You will co-ordinate matrix teams of internal and external specialists and manage large budgets.
