Description
An opportunity for a chemical regulatory officer / specialist to move away from the operational/day to day regulatory tasks and into an enabling role that will involve developing regulatory systems and processes in response to changing regulations.
You will use your knowledge of GHS/CLP, hazard communication and REACH to develop the company’s regulatory systems and processes that enable regulatory compliance; this will be a varied role, it will cover a range of global regulations, project management, implementation of new legislation and some regulatory intelligence work. You will be working with many different colleagues from both regulatory affairs and the wider business, so confident communication skills are essential.
This role would be ideal for a chemical regulatory officer / specialist with 2-5 years’ experience who is looking for a new challenge and new way to use your knowledge. Key knowledge is SDS Authoring, GHS, CLP, hazard classifications; basic knowledge of REACH is also required. You must be well organised, have great attention to detail, ideally some project management experience and good interpersonal skills.
