We are looking for an aspiring toxicologist to join an expanding regulatory team focussing on agrochemical / plant protection product registrations and defence. This role would suit an existing regulatory toxicologist who is looking for their next challenge within a highly experienced team. Knowledge of chemicals, biocides or PPPs would be highly beneficial.

As toxicologist, your duties will include reviewing data packages, assessing study protocols, interpreting results, developing testing and registration strategies, study monitoring, forming argumentation and advocacy positions, risk assessment and dossier preparation. You will be working alongside highly experienced toxicologists and registration experts; training and mentoring will be on going – you will be shown how to write dossiers, how to perform risk assessments and you will be encouraged to develop expertise in a specific area (eg repro tox, carcinogenicity etc). You will also be set a development path to ERT/Registered Toxicologist status. You will work alongside other experts from different disciplines and be able to gain strong insight into all sections of the registration dossiers. Ideal candidates will have a degree or higher degree and ideally a post graduate qualification in toxicology. You must have regulatory toxicology or practical toxicology experience (eg GLP studies) and ideally have expertise in reproductive toxicology. Knowledge of toxicology in agrochemicals, biocides, chemicals or pharmaceuticals is of interest. You must have excellent attention to details, confident verbal and written communication skills and be motivated to excel in your field.
