Description

A rare opportunity for an experienced regulatory affairs / product stewardship professional to start a new department at this global chemical company. The role will initially be stand alone and hands on; your remit is to provide internal chemical regulatory consultancy on global chemical control regimes, to develop policy and strategy, monitor regulatory developments and to provide expert support on global chemical notifications.

We are very interested to hear from experienced chemical regulatory and product stewardship professionals who are interested in developing and implementing a new product stewardship department. You must have a successful and proven track record in chemical product regulatory affairs and notification, a strong understanding of hazard communication, along with knowledge of REACH and other similar global regulatory schemes. You must be able to research and interpret regulatory developments, to develop plans and strategic regulatory solutions, support diverse stakeholders across the business and work with consortia, trade associations and regulators.
