An excellent opportunity for an experience Environmental Regulatory Scientist / Risk Assessor to take a lead role in the environmental risk assessment team of an award-winning regulatory science consultancy. As Team Leader of the environmental risk assessment team, you will be point of contact for clients, manage the team of expert consultants, co-ordinate of risk assessment projects, continually develop team skills to ensure capability remains at the cutting edge of regulatory science, advise on strategy and input to projects as an environmental risk assessment expert.
This role is an ideal career step for an experienced regulatory ecotoxicologist or environmental fate specialist who would like to do more than just project delivery. You will be able to maintain your expertise – vital to keep the team at the cutting edge – coordinate and develop the team and have an input to the strategic direction of the department.
Applications are invited from candidates with a proven regulatory ecotoxicology or environmental fate risk assessment track record and who would like to step up into management. You must have a high level of regulatory science understanding, be well organised, a confident communicator and either existing team supervision experience or the natural potential to do this.
