An opportunity for a toxicology study director or study manager to transition into regulatory toxicology. We are looking for an aspiring regulatory toxicologist who has strong knowledge of OECD study guidelines and insight into the in-life phase of toxicology studies. You will join the toxicology team at a specialist multi-disciplinary chemical regulatory consultancy.

A key element of the role will be assessing data requirements, developing testing strategy, providing clients with expert advice on how to gain the right data and study monitoring. You will be supporting a wide range of projects including chemical registrations, registration defence, new chemical development and helping clients reduce commercial risk by advising on hazards/feasibility of compounds at any early development stage. You will work as part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team of toxicologists, ecotoxicologists and chemists supporting diverse regulations including REACH, BPR and cosmetics.

This role would be ideal for experienced toxicology study directors / managers or CRO toxicologists who would like to move into a regulatory toxicology role and provide expert toxicology support to a diverse range of chemical sector clients. You must have strong knowledge of OECD guidelines for a broad range of chronic and acute studies, expertise in assuring study data integrity and a genuine interest in the science of chemical risk assessment. You may also have knowledge or a keen interest in alternative methods and computational toxicology. Ideally you will have knowledge of chemical regulatory schemes such as REACH but this is not essential. You must have good communication skills, be a team player and be happy to work directly with influential clients.
