Description

An opportunity to join the regulatory affairs department of a global leisure products company; we are looking for someone to focus on toy safety – to analyse pending changes to regulations impacting toys and children’s products, to perform impact assessments and to work with the business to implement change and ensure ongoing compliance.

In addition to regulatory research, you will update and maintain key regulatory documentation, testing and certifications to maintain regulatory compliance. You will also contribute to NPD projects to ensure new products meet compliance requirements. Products include a range of craft and art materials for the children’s market – they need to comply with toy and chemical safety regulations.

Suitable candidates are likely to have a chemistry qualification and ideally some knowledge / experience of toy safety requirements / legislation. Knowledge of chemical regulations eg CLP and experience with Safety data sheets would also be attractive. You will have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
