Description
A well established global chemical compliance consultancy is looking to set up a new offering to complement their existing REACH, CLP and BPR services – they are looking for a go to person to become their subject matter expert to develop and launch the service.
Due to demand from their existing clients, they would like to offer services in the growing list of EU chemical rules including PPWR, ESPR, microplastics, CSRD, product passports, EUDR, CBAM, WEEE, Battery Regulation, PFAS restriction etc etc.
They are looking for a chemical regulation professional with experience/knowledge of any of the above, the ability to horizon scan/analyse and become expert in this ever-growing list of rules and someone who would like to establish a new offering to an existing client base and beyond.
Your duties will be to track, interpret and translate EU regulatory developments, develop deep expertise in the regulations and how they intersect with REACH and CLP, be the go-to subject matter expert for colleagues and clients, support and advise clients impacted by these regulations, assist management with the service design and communicate to clients via newsletters, impact assessment and readiness checks.
We are looking for a chemical product compliance professional with experience and interest in any of the following EU regulations: PPWR, ESPR, microplastics, CSRD, product passports, EUDR, CBAM, WEEE, Battery Regulation, PFAS restriction, POPS regulation, SVHC/SCIP database obligations, Green Claims Directive. You must be able and confident to be able to read up on/research and develop expertise in new areas, have a desire to be subject matter expert, and to lead and develop a new service offering. You may have a consultancy or chemical manufacturing background, are likely to be at an early/mid stage of your career, have ambition, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills.
