Supply Chain & Production Planner – International Agrochemical Business

Description

An exciting opportunity to take ownership of supply chain and production planning within a successful international agrochemical business. This is a varied, hands-on role coordinating raw materials, procurement, contract manufacturing and finished product supply to global markets. You’ll play a central role in ensuring customer demand is met while developing systems and processes to improve supply chain efficiency.

Duties will include
• Manage demand forecasting, stock levels and materials planning.
• Coordinate purchasing of raw materials, packaging and components.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and UK contract manufacturers.
• Plan manufacturing schedules and secure production capacity.
• Coordinate international supply and support import/export processes.
• Develop and improve forecasting, inventory management and production planning systems.

We’re looking for a proactive, organised supply chain professional with experience in production planning, materials management, procurement or manufacturing operations.

You’ll bring strong planning and Excel skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to coordinate multiple suppliers and stakeholders.

Experience in chemicals, agrochemicals or another manufacturing industry would be advantageous, as would knowledge of international logistics and Inward Processing Relief (IPR). A science or technical degree would also be beneficial.
